Theodore Newton Vail (AT&T President) lived in a home on Walnut Avenue in the vicinity of Bower St. The estate is shown in the Bromley Atlas of 1895. There is a photographic album, entitled "Mine Own House" in 1887 a copy of which I viewed on 9/29/2016 at Lyndon State College (Vermont) at their Vail Museum. The volume has numerous pictures of the home exterior, interior, garden, and views of the surrounding neighborhoods from an elevated outlook. Is there information on this home such as original owner, architect, builder, year built, various owners, year demolished, etc.

In this Richard Heath article is mention of an apartment Building constructed in 1928 that may be on the site of the house.Tfb50 (talk) 13:20, October 2, 2016 (UTC)Thomas F. BreganiTfb50 (talk) 13:20, October 2, 2016 (UTC)
